DAVE NAVARRO Comments On OZZY OSBOURNE's Guest Appearance With CAMP FREDDY

Ozzy Osbourne Ozzy Osbourne made a surprise appearance with CAMP FREDDY on Friday Night. The Los Angeles-based band features Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS), Billy Morrison (ex-THE CULT bassist, current CIRCUS DIABLO vocalist), Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES), Donovan Leitch, and Chris Chaney (JANE'S ADDICTION, ALANIS MORRISETTE). Ozzy Osbourne performed three songs with the band, "Crazy Train", "Iron Man" and "Paranoid" at the House of Blues in Hollywood, CA.

Commented Navarro: "[Friday] night's CAMP FREDDY show goes down in the band's history as one of the all-time greatest experiences in our six-year career. We have had the honor of playing with some of rock's most amazing and talented musicians. A list that is so vast that it is too long to type here. Go to CAMP FREDDY's MySpace page for a fairly full listing. Last night, however, was probably the most incredible for me personally as Ozzy joined us at the House of Blues for three songs... 'Crazy Train', 'Iron Man' and 'Paranoid'. Of all the artists we have had the pleasure of working with, none have had a more intense and profound effect on me than BLACK SABBATH. They are the pioneers of heavy metal. Their music has not only influenced me, but it has influenced just about every other heavy band that has in turn, influenced me. Having the opportunity to perform live with Ozzy is literally a dream come true. The House of Blues was cranked up to a level I have never seen in there before. The energy in the room was so electrifying that it could have powered up New York City for a year. Thanks to Ozzy for joining us on stage for a night that everybody in the club will remember forever!"
