Trivium checks in

Trivium TRIVIUM guitarist Corey Beaulieu has posted the following update:

"Hey everyone!

Thought I would shoot out a quick update before the madness begins! First up is the release of our new single from our new album Shogun 将軍 which hit stores September 30th, you will be able to download our first single "Kirisute Gomen," www.roadrunnerrecords.com/shogun/ 12:01AM EST Thursday July 31st.

The download is only active for 24 hours, we're all stoked about it!! It has been a long album process for us and its going to be great to finally get you all a new tune to jam on, just make sure to head over to Roadrunner Records web site www.roadrunnerrecords.com/shogun/

Also, our next single "Into The Mouth of Hell - We March" is being released as part of the soundtrack for the new Madden NFL 2009 game on August 12th! Madden NFL is one of my fav games of all time so its awesome we have a song on it!

Hopefully I can get a free copy since i bought 4 different versions of Madden NFL 08 last year!!

Mark your calendar September 1st is the date for the first "official" album digital single that includes a music video for the track "Down From the Sky". We shot the video last week with with director Ramon Boutviseth who worked with us on the "Becoming the Dragon" video .

The "Down From The Sky" video shoot was great, by far the BEST most efficent video experience we have ever had and feel we really captured exactly what we set out to do so def will be the best video we have done by far!

So a brief recap, by first week of September Trivium fans will have 3 new tracks to check out and listen to from
"Shogun 将軍" so we're hoping that will hold you over until September 30th when "Shogun 将軍" is released world-wide!

We just announced our upcoming tour (www.trivium.org/tour.php) North American tour with All that Remains. We have toured a few times with ATR, in fact one of our very first tours 4 years ago was with ATR, so its going to be fun to hit the road again with them. I have been talking online to many of you at www.triviumworld.com and we know alot of people are complaining about the tour routing and are asking why we aren't coming to this city or that city, all we can say is be patient!!

We will have another major tour announcement soon. This tour will be another North American tour and we will hit all the major markets, it is this pending announcement tour that has placed restrictions on what cities we could and couldn't play on this tour. We def want to play everywhere we can and hit all the cities we can but this is just how things work, so if we missed your city or area on this run we are going to be back this is just the start of the Shogun 将軍 touring cycle, so keep an eye out there will be many more tour dates added within the next month.

Well, the Trivium machine is getting up and running again and all we can say is we are pumped and ready to get this music out there and get our asses back out on tour. The past nine months have been the longest we have been away from touring, so while it was a nice break and a chance to recharge and focus on making the best album we can we're ready to go.

I'd like to thank on behalf of Travis, Paolo, Matt and the whole Trivium team all the Trivium World memebers www.triviumworld.com for the amazing support.

We also want to thank all of our www.myspace.com www.youtube.com/trivium and Trivium message board members for all the words of encouragement and support not only during the writing and recording process but all the time, it's amazing just how supportive and positive Trivium fans are.

While we can't always communicate personally via our www.myspace.com www.youtube.com/trivium spaces we have great moderators and administrators that do pass along and communicate basic information.

We will be spending alot of time on www.triviumworld.com so feel free to hit us up online.

Its nice to keep in touch and hear from all our friends and fans from around the world.

We will see our Japanese and Austrailan friends next week and yes we will be playing a new song or 2 for the first time live!!"
