Horse The Band announces new drummer
Horse The Band has announced the addition of Daniel Pouliot (of Bleeding Kansas) to their line-up. Pouliot effectively replaces Chris Prophet, who left Horse The Band in February. Here's a statement from the band:
"We've known Daniel for like five years. He was there when Nathan did his first show on vocals. He has watched the ages of Karuza, Alex Duddy, Eel Eye, Christopher Prophet, and Jon Karel from the #12 Looks Like You come and go. He is also the hardest-hitting, most brutal, smartest, coolest drummer any of us have ever seen in ten years of touring this planet 'Earth.' Any of you who have seen Bleeding Kansas understand, we now have the most brutal drummer ever. He would have been our drummer like nine years ago but he was finishing up college.
"Also Daniel's playing style is more suited to what we have always wanted to be. As 'not a fan of Meshuggah' or gay technical I play scales fast and use triggers and stand-still metal, we can truly pursue our dream to become the most relentless, dynamic, energetic, spastic, punishing, cathartic, glorious, meaningful-core music band in the world."
