It's clearly not as elaborate as the iconic artwork for past albums like "Master of Puppets" and "Ride the Lightning," but is eye-catching nonetheless. Some might say that the band was a little too 'pussy' with its artwork this time around, but it represents Metallica's concept for the album quite well: the polarization of opinion that surrounds the issue of death.
