In This Moment records new album

In This Moment As the buzz surrounding the much anticipated new In This Moment album continues to build to epic proportions, the Los Angeles based quintet prepares to embark on their first run of shows after weeks of recording, including a stop at this year's Ozzfest. This will be preceded by a handful of dates with Devildriver and some high profile, commercial radio shows alongside such major acts as Seether, P.O.D. and Sevendust. Feel free to check out www.myspace.com/inthismoment to view their complete, summer touring schedule and stay tuned for a major, North American touring announcement to be made in the coming weeks.

In This Moment have now completed the recording process and are poised to take their already stellar career to soaring new heights with their aptly titled sophomore release, The Dream; a dynamic hard rock opus that proves the band has matured well beyond their years. The offering was produced by the acclaimed Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Shania Twain) and showcases the band's songwriting prowess and Brink's beautiful, angelic voice that is simply captivating.

Chris Howorth (guitars) states: "We just completed the recording process for The Dream and are extremely excited with the results. We were all living and recording in the same house and it has been such an awesome experience for us. When we made the last record we spent over a month in New Jersey at a Motel 6, so this place is like the Hilton by comparison. We lived and breathed this record 24 hours a day. We started making demos of our ideas in January while we were still on the road and came to Vegas with 18 song ideas that we have now narrowed down to 12. We went through and picked the best ideas and we even wrote a couple of brand new songs right here in the studio.

"Our producer, Kevin Churko, has been so amazing to work with. He has pulled the absolute best performance out of every one of us, helping us find the essence of every song and every idea we come up with. We are really excited because there is an undeniable chemistry happening between us and Kevin; all the songs are turning out better than we ever imagined. We've grown so much since our last record and it really shows in the new material. Our main focus has always been to write the best songs we can, and we are really proud of how the new stuff has turned out.

"After Ozzfest and a string of radio festival shows, we will embark on our first official tour for The Dream in September. We are part of a killer package that will be hitting every major city in the U.S. throughout the fall. It feels like such a long time since our last show and we are ready to see our fans again and play some new songs for you. We look forward to seeing you all soon."
