Hit & Run bassist passes away

The following message was posted on the Hit & Run blog:

It's with a heavy heart that I write this.
Our best friend, Brother and band mate, Ben Cooksey, has unexpectedly passed away. Although he's no longer on this earth, he will always be with us. He has left a huge impression on the world that cannot be forgotten, nor will it.

Ben, was a great musician and was as solid as a dude can be. We had so many good times together and that's how we would like to remember him. So full of life. Ben was a major factor in our band and in many peoples lives. He truly had many great friends that will forever remember him. Things will never be the same without him around. He always looked at the best in people and gave his best in everything he did. There's no replacing a person like that. I hope wherever you are Ben, you found peace.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family that have to live this tragedy. I know how much it pains me, I can only imagine the depth of pain they're going through.

All proceeds from sales of our EP will go directly to the family to help for expenses. I urge everyone who wants a copy to do so now through our page. I know it's small, but at least it's some relief. If anyone would like to donate, please get in touch. Everything we are and everything we do will be in memory of BC.

Rest in Peace Brother. You are missed immensely
