Synastry Announces Cross Canada Tour
Montreal based death metal quartet Synastry have announced their upcoming cross Canada summer tour. The tour kicks off in Thunder Bay, Ontario and heads through Western Canada where the band will play Vancouver's Evil Fest 2008. The tour will be capped off with a performance at the Quebec Metalfest.
"SYNASTRY is ready to tear across our beautiful nation of Canada in our inaguaral national tour," says frontman Jimmy Anastasopoulos. "We've had such a great reaction from the record so far that we can't wait to get out there and share it with the folks in Sioux Lookout to Vancouver and everywhere in between. Even though this is our first national tour, this will be the first of many as we plan to stay on the road as much as possible."
Synastry is touring in support of their Year of the Sun debut, "Blind Eyes Bleed", which was produced by Kevin Jardine (ex-Slaves on Dope). The album's unique mixture of classic death metal and pulsing industrial has earned them the #1 ranked unsigned band in MySpace's Death Metal category prior to signing with Year of the Sun.
