THE END RECORDS sets North American release date for LORDI's followup to 'The Arockalypse'

Lordi LORDI, the biggest monster band on the planet, are getting ready to storm back into the music scene
with a new album set for release on October 28th, 2008 in North America via THE END RECORDS.

The yet-untitled new album will showcase the band's trademark melodic hard rock sound, something the band has amplified
from the debut, 'Get Heavy', onto the mega-successful 'The Arockalypse'. An international success, 'The Arockalypse' has sold
350,000 units to date and was certified gold in Sweden and Germany --not to mention attaining triple platinum status in Finland.

In the summer 2007 Lordi brought their spectacular live show, complete with fireworks, to the United States as one of the
mainstage acts on Ozzfest 2007 (alongside Ozzy Osbourne, Lamb of God and Static-X). Soon after the band returned for a
successful North American fall tour supporting Type O Negative. Both of these tours helped build LORDI's already rabid fanbase
in North America and no doubt the very active fan base is anxiously awaiting Lordi's new album and upcoming tour.

In 2008 the band has concentrated heavily on studio work, though they have taken time off to play select shows, such as the
Rock2Wgtn music festival in Wellington, New Zealand, where they shared the same stage with their musical and visual mentors, KISS.
The band were also featured at various European summer festivals.

While LORDI has seen success from their music and hit singles, their horror-inspired costuming continues to refine and
grow with each successive album…and fans love it. We can only excitedly wait to see how monstrous
Mr. Lordi, Amen, Lady Awa, Ox and Kita will reveal themselves to us this fall.

In other news, THE END RECORDS recently reissued the band's 2002 debut album 'Get Heavy.'
The reissue comes with the exclusive bonus track, 'Don't Let My Mother Know.'
