Corey Taylor (Stone Sour, Slipknot) joins Steel Panther (formerly Metal Skool) on Stage
Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor joined Steel Panther (formerly Metal Skool) on stage Monday night at the Key Club in Hollywood for a rendition of Judas Priests' "You've Got Another Thing Comin" with Scott Ian (Anthrax) on guitar. After a couple shots of Jack Daniels, Corey was ready for a different kind of Poison. He was joined on bass by Black Presidents bassist, Jason Christopher for "Nothin' But a Good Time."
Later in the set, Ugly Kid Joe frontman Whitfield Crane jumped onto the stage and sang "Heaven and Hell" by Black Sabbath.
Musicians not appearing on stage but in attendance, Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Shavo (System of a Down), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver), comedian Brian Posehn, and Roy Mayorga (Soulfly, Black Presidents).
Steel Panther performs every Monday at the Key Club in West Hollywood.
