NEURAXIS offers studio webisode #3 footage; unveil album artwork
Canada's NEURAXIS has issued the band's latest webisode video clip entitled "NEURAXIS Studio Episode #3 – vocals and bass," featuring footage and interviews from the recording of the band's fifth studio record. Footage is available online at the band's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/neuraxis). NEURAXIS tapped Jef Fortin (of fellow Canadians Anonymus) to record the band's debut album for Prosthetic Records, 'The Thin Line Between,' which will also feature a guest vocal cameo from the legendary Luc Lemay (Gorguts, Negativa). Cover artwork for 'The Thin Line Between' is available here (http://www.prostheticrecords.com/.
"The writing and recording process for 'The Thin Line Between' was probably the most intense I've ever experienced," says guitarist Rob Milley. "Sound-wise this is going to be our best so far. Song-wise, it's our most complete album to date."
"I'm very happy with how the guitar playing was captured," added fellow guitarist Will Seghers says. "Precise, vicious and dynamic are words that come to my mind when hearing the new album." More excerpts are available in the webisode.
'The Thin Line Between' tracklisting:
1) Darkness Prevails
2) Wicked
3) Versus
4) Deviation Occurs

Currently wrapping up recording and mixing of 'The Thin Line Between,' NEURAXIS will be offering up more in-studio and behind the scenes footage between now and the album's July 22 release. Having entered the studio Feb. 19, Alan Douches (Mastodon, Converge, Shadows Fall) is now at work mastering the effort, and artist Dennis Sibejin of Damnengine Art (Job For A Cowboy, Chimaira) will showcase the record's visuals. The cover art is available here (http://prostheticrecords.com/neuraxis-thethinlinebetween-web.jpg). The new album will be the first studio album featuring new vocalist Alex Leblanc and new guitarist William Seghers, both having appeared on the recently-released 'Live Progression,' via Galy Records. 'Live Progression' is the live follow-up to NEURAXIS' last studio album, 2005's 'Trilateral Progression.' More details, artwork for 'The Thin Line Between,' tour dates, and regular in-studio footage updates will be available shortly.
