Tommy Vext Leaves Divine Heresy Following an Onstage Fight

Divine Heresy Inside sources have confirmed to The Gauntlet that Tommy Vext has left Divine Heresy following an altercation with Dino Cazares in Poughkeepsie, NY. No statement has been made by the band on whether they will continue without the lead singer.

Tommy Vext was onstage with Divine Heresy at a show over the weekend and a problem with the monitors caused Vext to request cutting the set short by two songs. He had already performed 8 of the 10 in the bands setlist for the night. As Tommy began to walk offstage, Dino began performing the intro to the next song and got in Tommy's face. Tommy reportedly shoved Dino and a small scuffle ensued.

Tommy Vext has begun work on a new project with Soulfly guitarist Marc Rizzo.
