Scott Weiland Plans Second Solo Album
Former Velvet Revolver star Scott Weiland is to revisit his solo career after reuniting rockers Stone Temple Pilots. The frontman, who departed Velvet Revolver at the beginning of the month - after a series of public fights with his bandmates - is working on a second solo album.
Weiland has teamed up with No Doubt's Adrian Young on the project, which he hopes to have released by November.
The release marks the 10th anniversary of his first solo album, 12 Bar Blues.
Meanwhile, Weiland has reunited with Stone Temple Pilots for a summer tour, which will begin next month at Columbus, Ohio's Rock on the Range festival.
