Extreme Reunite For One Song At Metal Skool


Attendees of last nights Metal Skool concert at the Key Club in Hollywood, were treated to a reunion of all four members (Gary Cherone - Lead vocals, Pat Badger - Bass Guitar, Nuno Bettencourt - Guitar and
Paul Geary - Drums) of the 80's glam rock band Extreme. After much coaxing from Metal Skool's lead singer, Michael Star (Ralph Saenz), the band climbed up on stage and performed a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Communication Breakdown". (see photos)

Extreme broke up in 1996. Gary Cherone later quit and joined Van Halen in 1997. Nuno Bettencourt is currently the lead guitarist for Perry Farrell's new band, The Satellite Party. The band will be playing a benefit concert for music manager Steven Hoffman on May 18. Hoffman was credited with the discovery of Extreme and a key player in the bands early success.
