BLOOD FOR BLOOD Shows Canceled Due To Alleged Raping Of A 13 Year Old By Vocalist

Internet rumors come and go and it is always tough to make heads or tales of shit you read online. But this one hasn't gone away since Monday June 25 and is gaining more credibility daily.

What we do know is on Monday, hardcore Boston natives Blood For Blood canceled their upcoming shows stating
"We regret to inform you, due to a situation that has arisen involving Buddha, it has become impossible for Blood For Blood to play the shows scheduled for this weekend in Boston and NYC. We'd like to thank and apologize to everyone who brought these shows together, as well as all of the Wasted Youth Crew, who were planning on attending. Trust us, this was not something we wanted to do."

Almost immediately thereafter, accusations began accusing vocalist Erick "Buddha" Medina of raping a 13 year old girl. Medina's facebook page went on lockdown and then was deleted. The band's facebook page has also been deleted all posts accusing Medina of the alleged raping.

A source close to the band has confirmed to The Gauntlet that there has been an "accusation of rape made against and 'Buddha' [Erick Medina] about a month ago, but at this time I have no details regarding this except for he was arrested and booked for rape. I tried texting him on Monday but haven't heard back from him."

We were told the incident happened at a BBQ over Memorial Day weekend where Medina got a bit drunk pinned a 13 year old girl against a wall and began kissing her as she struggled. The Massachusetts department of social services Department of Children and Family has already investigated the incident.

So far our requests for comment from the band have not been returned.
